Depth of interactivity with the villagers certainly needs a boost, however, the decoration can definitely be taken way further. I avoid creating large ponds in my island for instance because it’s just space which becomes unusable; I would really like to be able to swim in it like you can with Animal Crossing Items the sea, or decorate it with pool toys, or even have a bigger map that permits you to create little lakes that you may navigate by ship.

Additionally, there are a whole lot of items that are just unsatisfactory because of how non-functional they’re. You’re lucky if you can even interact with a product, and often the effect is much too underwhelming(a prime example is that the canon you get from Gulivarrr, which has a pitiful little’poof’ impact in lieu of a canonball).

The arcades could have minigames. Pools and tubs could allow you to lounge in them similar to chairs. I want to be able to really ride the teacups or go in the phonebooth.

I love that now you can freely decorate your island/village, it’s a great development for the show that I believe is underappreciated by a few men and women who just appear to complaint about the sport, but it has highlighted just how shallow the match’s items are.

The great news for the developers is that they have a good base, they simply need to place a lot of work into creating it deeper.

Shoutout to them completely ruining events. You know how previously there’d be an event NPC and you would do small quests to them and get things in return?

Well hey those things still exist, only now they’re unlocked from Animal Crossing Bells For Sale randomly spawning balloons. Every event, it is just more fucking balloons. I have not bothered to take down a single damn balloon after Easter because the system is fucked beyond all reason.
